Citizenships
- By marriage: you must have completed 2 years counted per day being married to a Costa Rican person within Costa Rica.
- By residence: if you are Hispanic or Latino/a you must have completed 5 years with an official DIMEX (not provisional) and pass the social and Spanish test to be able to apply for this naturalization. If you are from other countries of the world this time will be 7 years.
- Others: there are different types of citizenships that each one has its own requirements.
